HIRING TO GO UP
Recently a survey by taggd showed that the hiring intent is expected to grow to 31 per cent, which is a direct reflection of the recovery the Indian economy is witnessing post pandemic.
More than half (56 per cent) of the new hires in 2022 are expected to be early career professionals with 0-5 years of experience.
TOP SKILLS
Meanwhile, artificial intelligence and machine learning, user experience designers, cloud computing, and data analytics and data Science are set to be top skills in demand, according to a survey by taggd.
IT JOBS FOR FRESHERS
The IT industry is likely to see 2x hiring particularly for freshers and professionals under two years of work, said Saurabh Govil, CHRO, WIPRO, according to the survey by taggd.
“We have also doubled our intake of non-engineer freshers through our work-integrated learning program. We have also launched some diversity and inclusion initiatives to facilitate a greater share of women in the workforce,” Govil said.
